The founders

Shaun Gauthier-Vu

Shaun Gauthier-Vu

Shaun Gauthier-Vu is an assistant director, producer and co-founder of 3PLΩM3. He discovered film sets at a very young age and took his first steps in front of the camera in small roles.

Since 2015, he has worked in film and television as a production assistant and assistant director. His experience has given him a practical understanding of the craft and the different stages of production.

At 3PLΩM3, he co-wrote and produced the short film 444, then produced Quato.

Alexandre Nachi

Alexandre Nachi

Alexandre Nachi is a Montreal-based actor, screenwriter, director and producer. The son of Romanian immigrants who came to Canada after the fall of communism, he began acting at 13 and has since worked in film, television and theatre.

Trained at the Conservatoire d’art dramatique de Montréal, he soon developed a desire to create his own projects and became a co-founder of 3PLΩM3, an independent production company.

He wrote, produced, directed and starred in his first short film, 444, which was entirely self-funded. The film premiered at Fantasia before screening at around thirty festivals worldwide. In 2024, his second short, Quato, also had its world premiere at Fantasia.

Alexandre continues to develop independent projects with a hands-on approach to filmmaking. He is drawn to imperfect characters, human relationships, identity, memory and anything that can make a story feel more truthful, stranger or more unsettling.
